The Japanese love their robots. And a new ‘groundbreaking’ one, co-developed by Osaka University and Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute (ATR), is downright scary. Not only does the Telenoid R1 look like an unborn infant from Stephen King’s deepest horrors, it moves. The thing doesn’t even have fingers or legs, just stumps and a tail that squirms about. World Breastfeeding Week is August 1-7
More than 120 countries celebrate World Breastfeeding Week August 1 – 7 each year. Its aim is to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world.
The University of Michigan Health System will participate in the celebration this year by holding public education seminars to address the myths and facts surrounding breastfeeding. Full story
